PMD Alliance. – Parkinson & Movement Disorder Alliance, “PMD Alliance” for short — an independent, national nonprofit dedicated to providing opportunities for people to learn, live more fully and spark meaningful connections around them. The PMD Alliance is the sponsor for our support group and others.

Southwest Parkinson Society – Jo Bidwell, Executive Director, is one of our favorite speakers and one the most knowledgeable persons when it comes to Parkinson’s. Located in Lubbock, Texas, Jo has put many miles on her autos driving across Texas and into New Mexico to start and support new support groups for years. The American Parkinson Disease Association – APDA has created more than 40 informational booklets and fact sheets to help educate you and your loved ones about Parkinson’s disease (PD). They are available at no cost to you, and most are available in both English and Spanish.
